June 18th, 2020 - Public notice from the Birch Ridge Inn at Killington.
On June 18th, 2020, in accordance with the guidelines put forth by the State of Vermont the Birch Ridge Inn at Killington has re-opened and is receiving guests for lodging and dinner services.
As we re-open, the Birch Ridge Inn is doing everything possible to keep guests and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Even though we have been consistently reviewed by our guests as being a very clean property, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic the Birch Ridge Inn has adopted enhanced sanitary protocols. All employees are trained on how to function in a public environment in the presence of COVID-19 so that they do not contract the disease, nor transfer it to others. All work areas are equipped with the proper sanitizing methods to align with the work performed at the station. Contactless check-out procedures are being implemented. Virtual contactless check-in procedures are in development. In addition to using various chemical sanitizers, commercial UV-C room sanitizing equipment has been purchased for the final sanitizing step in every guest room.
