The weather in Vermont has been warm and humid. Reports from all of the golf courses in the area have been very positive. The courses have been drying out and firming up since the damp, cool spring. But stay in the fairway, because roughs are thickening up considerably. I won't even talk about the woods.... The weather has been very good to grow thick under growths on the edge of the tree lines around holes.
One final note, the raspberries are heavy on the vines. A black bear mother and cub were reported on the 14th hole at Green Mountain enjoying the feast. Needless to say, the foursome that came upon them gave them a very wide berth.
